1983 soll Atari unzählige Exemplare des gefloppten Spiels "E.T. - Der Außerirdische" in einer Mülldeponie in New Mexico vergraben haben. Microsoft machte sich auf die Suche und fand sie. Die dabei entstandene Doku zeichnet nicht nur die Suche nach den Spielen nach, sondern blickt auch auf die erste goldene Ära der Videospiele und ihren spektakulären Zusammenbruch zurück. Denn der Flop wird als einer der Gründe für den Untergang von Atari gesehen.
