カメハウスに住む亀仙人とクリリンを５年ぶりに訪ねた悟空。再会を喜び合う皆の前に突如、悟空をカカロットと呼ぶ戦士が降り立つ。幼い頃の悟空と同じ尻尾を持つその男は、ラディッツと名乗り、自分は宇宙位置の強戦士族サイヤ人で、悟空の実の兄であると告げる。そして、悟空に仲間になれと命じるが…。
