仕事に追われ、眠れない毎日を送るサラリーマン・浩国（金子隼也）は、ある日疲れ果てて路上に倒れ込んでしまう。浩国が目を覚ますと、なぜか中学生の頃に仲良くしていた少年・甲斐（野村康太）がそこにいた。12年ぶりに再会した二人だったが、甲斐は住む所がなくなったと言って、浩国の家へ転がり込む。翌日浩国が帰宅すると、甲斐が夕食を作って待っていた。「こんなに飯が美味いって思ったの、久しぶりかも」。毎日ご飯を作ることを条件に、二人の同居生活がスタートする。
