今日のシフトは、実吉、ルキーニ、新子。実吉が嫁から電話の対応をしている隙に、新子はエグザイルのライブに。ルキーニは自分のバンドのライブにそれぞれ行ってしまっていた。その時、警報がなる。現れたのはゴーダ星人。実吉が対応するが、息子のサッカースクールの送り迎えを嫁から催促されており、いったん地球に帰る。代わりにきたのは、香織、牛山、三島。しかし3人は、シフトではないので自分の予定を優先すると文句を言い、すぐに帰っていった。 実吉が月に戻ると、ゴーダ星人は1人待っていた。話を聞くと、上司の命令で侵略にきており、ゴーダ星人もまた中間管理職ならではの苦悩を抱えていた。同じ境遇のゴーダ星人に同情して、侵略を許してしまいそうになる。その時、新子が戻ってくる。新子が脇の匂いを嗅がせるとあえなくゴーダ星人は消えていった。かくして今日も地球の平和は守られたのであった。
